PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise and Taxation Mian Jamsheduddin Kakakhel has said that threatening state institutions and its respectable members has been the practice of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
He said the speech made by the Nehal Hashmi represented the real face of the ruling party and their intention – if failed – to get desired result in the Panamagate case.
Addressing the office-bearer of the party organisation in Nowsehra on Friday, he called the PML-N workers and leaders were unaware of political tolerance and desperate since the Supreme Court formed the Joint Investigation Team to probe Panama scam.
He said corruption and malpractices were rampant whenever PML-N came into power but this time the PTI would try to make them accountable and oust them from the scene of politics for good.
Mian Jamshed asked the party members and workers not to deviate from the footprints of party chief Imran Khan’s struggle against the evil of corruption of the successive governments.
There were a number of scapegoats in the circle of the PML-N who were working hard to save Nawaz Sharif one way or the other in the Panama Papers case, he added.
He said that as the proceedings of the JIT were advancing, the corrupt leaders of the country would become impatient. He said that people across the board were putting their trust in Imran Khan and, therefore, the PTI workers should work to boost the party’s reputation.
All members of the party organisation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should work hard in their respective areas to spread the message and vision of Imran Khan and block ways of corruption, he added.
