LAHORE: As part of its corporate social responsibility, the Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited arranged two free medical camps on August 27 and September 10 at Kot Asad Ullah, and Manga Mandi, Multan Road, Lahore, respectively.
Doctors and paramedical posted at the camps provided medical treatment and general healthcare to visiting patients. Besides acting as a medical facility, the camp was also aimed at educating local residents on personal health, hygienic, child healthcare, preventions of diseases and sanitation. Parents were also educated on curable diseases, which children might suffer from and women were counselled on issues related to children’s and mother’s health. Collectively, 1,128 patients were given free medical treatment at the two camps. Honda Atlas is fully committed to the medical welfare of under-privileged areas.
So far 17 medical camps have been arranged in area’s surrounding its factory. The camp received a positive response and was appreciated by the local community.
