ISLAMABAD: China will continue their contributions in the development and progress of Pakistan, said the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi while talking to the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday in Islamabad.
The Chinese Foreign Minister said that the purpose of China Pakistan Economic Corridor project is to create peace and harmony in the region as well as to make it successful. Both countries are willing to flourish the trade and industry. Keeping in view the progress and economic stability in Punjab, the Chinese Foreign Minister appreciated the governance of Shahbaz Sharif.
Having identical opinion on regional and international matters, the friendly relations between the two countries have turned into strong economic cooperation, said the Chief Minister.
CPECP has led to a new era of development and progress in Pakistan, added the Chief Minister.
A meeting was also held between Sartaj Aziz, Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs and Wang Yi, Chinese Foreign Minister in Islamabad for discussion on regional situations and bilateral issues.
