KARACHI: On the directives of Provincial Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, missing facilities to the primary and secondary schools are being provided on emergency basis across the province.
In this regard, in Hyderabad boundary wall to 383 schools, washrooms to 464 schools, solar panel to 835 schools and pure drinking water to 552 schools; in Karachi, boundary wall to 177 schools, washrooms to 177 schools, solar panel to 180 schools and pure drinking water to 136 schools; in Mirpurkhas boundary wall to 266 schools, washrooms to 300 schools, solar panel to 297 schools and pure drinking water to 260 schools; in Shaheed Benazirabad, boundary wall to 266 schools, washrooms to 234 schools and solar panel to 916 schools and in Sukkur boundary wall to 692 schools, washrooms to 1071 schools and solar penal to 1400 schools are being provided.
Collectively before end of the fiscal year, boundary wall to 2042 schools, washrooms to 2542 schools, solar panels to 4899 schools and pure drinking water to 996 schools will be provided.
