KHAIRPUR: A missing female student from Shah Abdul Latif Universitywas recovered from Karachi.
According to details, Khairpur police raided a house in Karachi and recovered the missing student, Fozia Parveen Channar. They arrested Abdul Hakeem Khoso; a bus driver for the University. Both of them were brought to Khairpur and produced before civil court Khairpur Judge, Sajjad Naeem, and later shifted to Shah Abdul Latif Police station Khairpur.
The student told the magistrate that she was not kidnapped by the bus driver – Abdul Latif Khoso- but she had gone to Karachi to meet her sister. She claims police arrested her and brought her to live with her mother. Based on her testimony, the court acquitted Abdul Latif from the kidnapping case and ordered his release.
Fozia Channar in her final year ofMSC in Botany, belongs to the village of Tharo Shah. Sh was missing for 15 days and her brother Waseem lodged an FIR of kidnapping against four men; including the acquitted Abdul Hakeem Khoso.
