SRINAGAR: At least five youth have been killed in two days as Indian troops started a search operation at Rafiabad in Baramulla district.
Out of five, four martyred yesterday while one could not succumb to his wound and left the world today.
Indian troops have reportedly started a cordon and search operation which is jointly launched by Indian army’s 32 Rashtriya Rifles and 9-Para Commandos in the upper reaches of Rafiabad area of the district.
The gunship helicopters have also been used in the operation.
On the other hand, massive protests erupted after Indian troops launched the operation in Gudoora area of Pulwama district. However, the troops used brute force for dispersing the protesters.
Earlier this week, three youth were martyred in IOK by the Indian troops.
